Physical examination (blood pressure, heart auscultation) is not possible via video, so new-onset chest pain, breathlessness, or suspected emergencies require an in-person visit. For follow-ups, medication reviews, report discussions, and second opinions, teleconsultation is equally effective and more convenient.
You need a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection (4G or broadband). The consultation is conducted over a secure, HIPAA-compliant HD video platform — no app download is required; a browser link is sent to your phone or email before the appointment. If you have difficulty with the technology, our team can guide you through the setup or conduct the consultation over WhatsApp video as a backup.
Yes — Dr. Amit Singh can issue digital prescriptions during a teleconsultation in accordance with Indian telemedicine guidelines (Board of Governors 2020). Prescriptions are sent electronically within 24 hours of the consultation. For patients on scheduled drugs or those requiring a physical examination before prescription modification, an in-person visit may be recommended.
